KAIN & SAMANTHA
Kain and Samantha's Wedding at Chapel on the Hill
CHAPEL ON THE HILL / / TANWORTH
This one was a bit different in the best way.
They were both tattooed, alternative, completely themselves — and the whole day reflected that. Nothing felt traditional just for the sake of it. It felt intentional. It felt personal.
The ceremony had that intimate, close-to-everyone feel, but the reception was where their personalities really came through. It was held in a village hall, which might sound simple on paper, but they completely transformed it. So many personal touches — details everywhere you looked. It didn’t feel like “a hall”, it felt like their space.
That’s what I loved about it. It wasn’t about impressing anyone. It was about creating something that felt right to them. You could see it in the decor, in the styling, in the people they had around them.
Portraits were easy because they were so comfortable being themselves. No trying to fit into a mould. Just relaxed, honest moments. That always makes it better to shoot.
By the evening, it felt like a proper celebration. Good music, good people, no rules. Just everyone leaning into it
